Every year we hold a "Hanging of the Greens" party here at First UCC. It has become quite a tradition with all age groups getting involved and it always includes lots of food, fun & fellowship!
This year we began on Sat. as a hearty group went on a "Hunt for the Perfect Christmas Tree". They did not return empty handed & bagged a few beauties! After wrestling them into the truck & then into the church, they were set up awaiting their transformation.
On Sun., Dec. 5th following worship we held a pot-luck lunch & then while the kids made some Christmas crafts, the adults decorated our beautiful Sanctuary, inside and out. First Church looks like a postcard perfect picture in it's Christmas glory!
