Youth Mission Projects

Our youth are excited to be able to choose, design and put into action their mission projects. We have done a wide variety of mission projects to benefit our local community and to reach out to those in  need around the world. Over the past few years our Youth have participated in mission projects such as Nothing But Nets, Heifer International, Haitian earthquake relief, Trinity Soup Kitchen, and Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley raising thousands of dollars for these causes.  These fundraising efforts not only help our kids spread the word of Jesus, but also allow them to help others in their own community and  around the world.

Our current Youth Mission Project is......
"Blankets+"
"Blankets+" is a program to help us "Blanket The World in Love" through Church World Services (C.W.S.). There are places here in the U.S.A. and  in other places around the world where people are working to rebuild after natural disasters and severe drought. There are places where clean drinking water is no where to be found. There are places where families have no homes, no food, no shelter.  Our kids are learning about those places and about those people and their hearts are sad for those who live in these situations. Our kids want to help! If you want more info on how to help, go to the "Contact Us" tab and contact us!
They will be holding fund raising activities to support this mission including our "Every Sunday Coffee Hour" where you can catch up with your church family over refreshments following our Sunday service. Our young people offer these refreshments at a low cost to help fund their mission work so please don't forget to stop in for a cup of coffee or tea and a cookie or two after morning worship!
We have some coloring pages or activity pages about this mission project that may help you and your youngster understand somethings about the places that we are reaching through C.W.S. So, just click on the links below to obtain the PDF file and print it out to share with your child or children.
